Blancminster Park, Morda
Road
During the 12th and 13th centuries Oswestry was known as Blancminster (White Church).
It is said that the origin of this name was due to the white limestone tower of the parish church
at the time.
This tower was later replaced, so to mark this time in the town's history, CGL
Developments have called this prestigious development
Blancminster Park.
